Guided tours begin at the historic Te Kupe Station Woolshed, then continue in the Can-am Defender Max HD8. Ride trough sheep, lambs, and Angus breeding cattle. There’s a chance to see native birds, wildlife, and seasonal farm activities in action. In addition to the iconic Eastern Taranaki hills, an exilerating ride includes crossing gorges, native forests, and exotic woodlots.

In 2016 we decided to share our little slice of paradise with the world by giving tours and offering experiences to people visiting the farm.

Hill Country Tour

A two hour tour including a scenic drive through a large native bush forest, a look at the Angus cattle herd, and a drive through hill country sheep paddocks. On a clear day you will see Mt Taranaki, Mt Ruapehu, and Mt Ngauruhoe.

Te Kupe Station is an authentic, Taranaki hill country farm experience. See the sites, feel the history, and appreciate the daily goings on of a working farm.

Bush Tour

A one hour ride through native bush and green hill pasture dotted with sheep and cows. Finish up with a look around our historic woolshed.

Getting Here

  • Taxi from airport takes approx. 30 minutes and costs around $150.
  • We are a 20 minute walk from the bus station or a $10 taxi ride.
  • Hop off a shuttle from the airport.

Parking

We have ample off-street parking which has CCTV. Feel free to park you trailers and trucks within sight of you’re room. Parking is free of charge.
